Hereditary Colon Cancer Family Days

The landscape of hereditary cancer is scary by its own right. It’s even more scary if you cannot easily access family-friendly information about your condition and/or a network of people who are on the same journey as you.

If you cannot fully understand your condition, the possible symptoms to look out for, and your cancer risks, how can you educate your family? How can you advocate for quality care? How can you have hope?

If you do not have a network of people to draw upon, how can you learn what works, or doesn’t work, for others? At the end of the day, we want to have hope, improve our quality of life, and live until a ripe old age. Our Family Days help take the sting out of these conditions by bringing local medical experts into small group settings. They give families a chance to meet doctors they can trust and other families who ‘get it’.
